Great Entertainment
Great Local Entertainment!
The market is a great opportunity to catch some very talented local musicians. No matter your taste, there's sure to be a tune or two that catches your ear. If you or someone you know would like to play at the market, please send a CD to Raytown Farmers' Market, 6222 Raytown Trafficway, Box 254, Raytown, MO 64133. Great exposure and a little gas money!
Buy Local
Buy Local! Eat Fresh!
When you buy from an independent, local grower/producer, more of your money is used to make purchases from other local businesses, service providers and farms-- continuing to strengthen the economic base of the community. Our vendors are located within a 120 mile radius of downtown Raytown. We are helping to create and sustain a healthy regional economy!

Farmers Market Season Opening

Join us on Saturday, May 2, 2015 as we kick off our second year. Invite your friends, invite your neighbors, and especially invite anyone who hasn't experienced the wonders of healthy, natural produce!

Ways to Pay

We accept a variety of payment options for your convenience

Cash is always welcome at Raytown Farmers' Market, but there are several other ways to pay. Debit/credit cards are accepted for those who don't frequently carry cash. In addition, RFM is proud to accept Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits.

Debit/credit card processing

A wireless debit/credit card processing machine is available at the Market Manager's booth. After processing the card, the customer will be given black tokens in $5.00 increments that can be used to make purchases at individual vendors' booths throughout the market. Vendors are able to give change back when necessary. A $1.00 service charge per debit/credit transaction helps to support and maintain the market.

A wireless EBT (Electronic Benefits Transfer) processing machine is available at the Market Manager's booth. After the card is processed, the customer will be given tokens that can be used to make purchases at individual vendors' booths through out the market. Every Thursday and Saturday, we'll have a wide variety of produce, farm product, hand made artisan crafts, canned goods, ice cream, etc, to offer the freshest and finest in the Kansas City area! At our market, you buy directly from the producer - the person who grew it or made it and can tell you how to best cook, use and enjoy it. Plus, your dollars contribute directly to the local economy and assure the future of a healthy regional food system.

But we're more than a farmers' market, we've provided a community gathering place with live music, great food, family activities and lots of learning and educational opportunities! Each Thursday and Saturday, savvy shoppers from across Raytown and the KC Metro area come to shop, dine, relax and visit with family and friends. Won't you join us?
