Farmers Market Season Opening
Join us on Saturday, May 6, 2017, as we kick off our third year. Invite your friends, invite your neighbors, and especially invite anyone who hasn't experienced the wonders of healthy, natural produce!
Ways to Pay
We accept a variety of payment options for your convenience
Cash is always welcome at Raytown Farmers' Market, but there are several other ways to pay. Debit/credit cards are accepted for those who don't frequently carry cash. In addition, RFM is proud to accept Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits, and is part of the Double Up Food Bucks Kansas City program—a dollar-for-dollar matching program, for those on SNAP/EBT.
Debit/credit card processing
A wireless debit/credit card processing machine is available at the Market Manager's booth. After processing the card, the customer will be given wooden tokens in $5.00 increments that can be used to make purchases at individual vendors' booths throughout the market. Vendors are able to give change back when necessary. A $.50 service charge per debit/credit transaction helps to support and maintain the market.

A wireless EBT (Electronic Benefits Transfer) processing machine is available at the Market Manager's booth. Every Saturday, we'll have a wide variety of produce, farm product, hand made artisan crafts, canned goods, ice cream, etc, to offer the freshest and finest in the Kansas City area! At our market, you buy directly from the producer - the person who grew it or made it and can tell you how to best cook, use and enjoy it. Plus, your dollars contribute directly to the local economy and assure the future of a healthy regional food system.
But we're more than a farmers' market, we've provided a community gathering place with live music, great food, family activities and lots of learning and educational opportunities! Each Thursday and Saturday, savvy shoppers from across Raytown and the KC Metro area come to shop, dine, relax and visit with family and friends. Won't you join us?
